Creatin’ 2.0 is a community-led revival of miniatures.com's Annual Creatin’ Contest. It’s a great way for miniaturists to kickstart their creativity and share their work with the community.

The challenge is based on a new kit created by Kelly of Melvin's Miniatures in partnership with Erica Meade (@minihouseontheline) and Lindsay Burke (@schitt.to.shine): A Door to Somewhere.
The kit is $45 with free shipping within the U.S.
We would like all Creatin’ 2.0 participants to add a door, window, or some other opening to the wall.
Why a door? A door marks a passageway and a connection between two spaces. It implies possibility. And is a perfect metaphor for the revival of the Creatin’ Contest.
How to Participate

Purchase the Kit
The kit, A Door to Somewhere, is limited edition and available to U.S. residents via pre-order from Melvin’s Miniatures. Pre-order 1 is closed and orders will ship out in April. Pre-order round 2 will close April 10 and ship out in May.

Create Something
The kit provides a starting point, and you do the rest! Customize it however you see fit, but make sure to add a door, window or passageway.

Share Your Creation
